What are your contributions to the team?

 

•    Respond to aircraft on ground (AOG) situations and customer requests;
•    Produce engineering drawings, reports and quotations to support different projects;
•    Provide support to service bulletin proof installations;
•    Organize investigations into service issues and determine causes of failure and devise effective and innovative solutions;
•    Use initiative and judgment to recognize the implications of proposed solutions on other Aircraft installations;
•    Review engineering design and participate actively in the development of In-Service solutions;
•    Liaise with other departments, service centers, vendors and suppliers. Some travelling and occasional overtime may be required to meet AOG deadlines.
 

How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:

 

•    You hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering or have an equivalent working experience;
•    You have five (5) to ten (10) years of experience with aircraft Interiors/Systems;
•    Knowledge of CATIA V5 (2D or 3D), Autocad and MS Office;
•    You are autonomous, capable of working with a minimum of supervision;
•    You are a team player showing innovation, professionalism and commitment;
•    You have good verbal and written communication skills in English and French;
•    You have knowledge of aircraft certification (Type Certification (DAO), Supplemental Type Certification & major modification, etc.);
•    You have knowledge of electrical/avionics systems (an asset).
